In 1942, Morris & Rachel Millmud began creating luxury fur pieces for the world. Over the past 75 years, Morris Furs has become the most important name in fur in Western Canada. The people, the products, and the service behind Morris Furs is what has brought it to where it is today.
In 1999, when the family made the decision to retire, a new family lead by the Tzanidis brothers purchased the store to carry on the tradition. As fur manufacturers from Montreal, the three Tzanidis brothers brought extensive knowledge of the fur industry and the capacity to create custom pieces for customers.

The FUR FAMILY OF COMPANIES
When the Tzanidis brothers took over Morris Furs in 1999 they operated it in partnership with their store Fourrures Tzanidis Furs Inc in Montreal. The two locations allowed them to deliver quality furs to customers across Canada.
Later, Lustre-Ized Fur Depot was added to The Fur Family of Companies in order to service customers coats and provide a safe storage facility. From this location, vintage furs and customer furs are cleaned, repaired, and stored.
Finally, in order to serve the growing demand for international orders, The Fur Boutique was added as the online storefront for The Fur Family of Companies. The four brands work together to offer a unique and personalized experience in store and online.
